Featured- Hurricane Ian Fundraiser
Hurricane Ian devastated Florida in late September as a category 4 hurricane. It brought significant flooding, high storm surges, and excessively high winds in numerous areas of the state, causing over 100 deaths across the southeast. Many Florida residents have suffered substantial damage and loss due to this hurricane. Our club here at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, ISTORM (Illinois Student Organization of Meteorology), would love to fundraise to support those impacted. The funds will be sent directly to our charity of choice, “Charlotte Community Foundation ”, a charity that will provide financial assistance and supplies to the residents of Charlotte County, one of the areas that were hit the hardest. Please spread the word and donate if you can.
